Technological Process and Capacity
Toilet paper and paper towels manufacturing
A 1380 mm wide reel with paper base stock is fixed at the de-reeler of the rewinding / winding machine. The base stock sheet is dragged through a tension control device to the machine working site, where a mesh pattern or image is applied on its entire surface by an embossing method. The sheet is further conveyed into the perforation unit, where perforated lines are made with a special knife at equal intervals across the entire width of the sheet allowing the required size of paper or towel to be torn easily from the whole roll. The perforated sheet is delivered to the winding device, where it is reeled onto a cardboard core. The roll length to be wound, as well as the product sizes are set in accordance with the technical specifications, and are controlled during the production process. The roll is further conveyed to a machine for cutting the product across the width according to a set dimension. Thus obtained rolls are placed in a plastic package (4; 8; 32 rolls of toilet paper, and 2; 4; 8 rolls of towels). The package is tightly sealed (soldered) along the side edges and transported to the finished goods warehouse. To produce double-layer towels the stock sheet is folded in half in the winding process or an additional reel with paper base stock is fixed. The packaging, labeling, warehousing and storage requirements are according to TDS 713-2011.
Production of wet sanitary napkins
The production of wet sanitary napkins consists of the following basic stages:
  • Preparation of soaking liquid;
  • Feeding the base stock (nonwoven material);
  • Nonwoven material cutting (according to specified finished goods dimensions);
  • Nonwoven material moisturizing (soaking liquid types: antibacterial, moisturizing, sun-protective, polishing, perfume, etc.);
  • Stacking of napkins;
  • Packing a stack of napkins into the consumer package of a combination material with a sticker on adhesive basis and a reusable plastic flap;
  • Warehousing and storage of finished goods.
A soaking liquid is prepared in mixing tanks following the formulation, approved in accordance with the established procedure. Each napkin type has its own soaking liquid formulation containing various additives. The water, previously filtrated, softened and cleared from bacteria and microorganisms, is used as the basic component for the soaking liquid. To reduce the pH to pH 5.5, the monohydrated citric acid is added to water. The required amount of water is further fed into a mixing tank, where different ingredients are added according to the formulation. All soaking liquid components are thoroughly blended, and a solution sample is drawn and checked for compliance with the required indicators.
Description of the detergents manufacturing process
4.1 The manufacturing process consists of 6 stages:
  • preparation of primary products (reagents);
  • filling a tank with raw materials and semi-products;
  • mixing components;
  • preparing the composition of detergents;
  • determination of the products' pH medium, consistency, viscosity, transparency and compliance with the applicable requirements;
  • finished goods filling, pre-packing and packing;
4.2 Delivery and warehousing of primary products such as powder, liquids, coloring agents, solvents and preserving agents in 4-25-30-65-220 kg packs, sacks and iron barrels.
4.3 Pre-use inspection of raw materials (exterior, physical form, quantity). The quality is determined by control analysis according to the specifications.
4.4 Filling a tank with the optimal amount of reagents and semi-products calculated and weighed in accordance with the industrial standards for the production of detergents. When prepared in cold seasons of the year, the raw materials are heated before use.
4.5 The composition of detergents is prepared using the following procedure:
A 2500 liter tank is filled with the required amount of water. Then the selected components are added in parts and a mixer is started up. The components are mixed for 10-15 minutes.
After obtaining the uniform mass the rest of water is poured into a tank and the components are mixed for 30 minutes. Then citric acid, aromatizing and coloring agents are added.
4.6 Products' such values as pH medium (pH-6-7), consistency, viscosity and transparency are determined. The fragrance and color are adjusted in accordance with the applicable standards.
4.7 The finished products are filled by means of a pump. The mixture is pumped into 6-ton tanks. The detergents are filled into 250, 300, 400, 500, 750, 1000 grams up to 5 liter PVC bottles.
The bottles are provided with single-sided and double-sided self-sticking labels indicating the product name, composition, application method, precautions, manufacturer's address and shelf life.
The bottled detergents are packed into cardboard boxes with markings showing the product names. The packed products are stored in a warehouse.
